History:
Scientists on the planet Savoth had a deep understanding of the Speed Force and there were many universities devoted to its study. One of these scientists, Gorflack, built a Speed Force cannon to defend his planet from a force of alien invaders. Instead of performing its intended purpose, it brought Jay Garrick, the first Flash, to Savoth. After Garrick helped drive away the invaders, Gorflack gave him a lightning-shaped piece of solidified Speed Force which he and his successors could use to transport to Savoth.
The creation of the flash:
The Flash was first show in January 1940 in issue #1 a superhero how had super speed Nicknamed the Scarlet Speedster, the "Crimson Comet" and "The Blur", all incarnations of the Flash possess "super speed", which includes the ability to run and move extremely fast, use superhuman reflexes,and seemingly violate certain laws of physics. Four different characters each of whom somehow gained the power of super-speed have assumed the identity of the Flash:Jay Garrick,Barry Allen(Most known), Wally West, and Bart Allen.Before Wally and Bart's ascension to the mantle of the Flash, they were both Flash proteges under the same name Kid Flash and Bart was also known as Impulse.

Central City's location has been vaguely defined over the years, similar to DC's other fictional cities such as Gotham City and Metropolis. In the 1970s, Central City was stated as being located in Ohio, where the real-world city of Athens, Ohio, would be. Bob Rozakis' Ask the Answer Man column also stated that Central City was located in Ohio. In 1987's Flash #2, published just after the reality-altering story-line Crisis on Infinite Earths, Central City was shown as being in Florida. In DC: The New Frontier Barry Allen is called the "Illinois Flash" by Hal Jordan, insinuating that Central City, the Flash's home, is in that state.
